Perhaps one of the most dangerous and uncalculated mistakes done by drivers is underestimating the damage that a moderate engine overheating can have on the engine. Most times that a car rolls into my shop with a coolant leak, the customer is always advised how risky it can be. Car repair does not have to be expensive. Overlooking or underestimating the problem is what makes it expensive. So next time you have a small leak, bring it to your mechanic to make sure that you are not running your lucky chances too high.
